Created in November 2008 - It was during a plane ride back from Sydney, After my grandfather was diagnosed with Lukemia...It's been a long journey for me - so many deaths in a short space of time.
An angel floats among the clouds,
The silence of the plane; awakens a slight smile,
Through the angel's eyes; Tiny, infinite - soul filling eyes.
Which only feel trapped...
Unlocking them with the brace of the clouds,
And the tinge of the sunlight,
Which creates bountiful ambiance and warmth...
Blink once; change the scene...
Blink twice; daydreaming...
Too late to drift,
Too late to not exist within the realm of dissipated democracy,
What's more great and upholding?
Than living with the happiness of the sky;
The smile to each sunshine raise...
The melody made up of the symphony,
The harp of a thousand soothing notes,
Fills the atmosphere...
Followed by the voice of reason and gratitude;
Thank you...
Thank you...
Repeating the words,
Till the very last breath,
Those thickened clouds guard -
Hiding the greatest secret of all...
Eternal life,
The light of angels....
